Construction Efficiencies

Our homes are built indoors in a modern residential home building facility. Your home is never subjected to rain, wind, or intense heat. Because modular homes must be shipped to your lot and lifted onto your foundation by a crane, they must be built stronger than stick-built homes.

Construction Techniques

Modular homes are literally built from "the inside out" ensuring tighter construction, something which cannot be duplicated on the job site. Skilled craftsmen using only the finest machinery construct our homes in state-of-the-art factories. Building your new home inside the factory means that it is built under climate controlled conditions. Your new home is not exposed to the elements during construction, avoiding both weather-related delays and damage to building materials. Your home is built on schedule, regardless of the weather.

Materials

Due to manufacturing techniques, only the highest quality lumber can be used in modular factories, resulting in a higher-quality home. Modular construction methods also make your new home more energy efficient.

Time

Your new modular home can be delivered to your site in approximately two to three months. While your new home is being built in the modular factory, site work (foundation, well, septic system) is completed on your lot. Since your modular home arrives 80% to 90% complete, your new home can be ready to move into just one to two months after delivery. Compare this with the time involved to build a house on-site!

Inspection

Modular homes are inspected numerous times during the construction process and must meet both state and local building codes.
